Classic Dutch Ballroom Wedding | Bruidsfotografie Wereldmuseum Rotterdam
Elegant Ballroom Wedding in Werelmuseum, Rotterdam
Classic, romantic, with oodles of soft pastel shads and understated elegance underpinning a traditional but chic style.
This styled shoot is inspired by its location, Wereldmuseum in Rotterdam, which was once the yacht club of prince Hendrik of the Netherlands. With beautiful high ceilings, golden ornaments and chandeliers, it is the most iconic, classic-styled building of Rotterdam.
I pictured a girl embracing her new life, perhaps to become a Princess. She overlooks the window while waiting for her Prince, gazes in the mirror and dreams for the romance to come. The gown is a feminine and elegant piece with lace details on the shoulders and the back. Hair and makeup was kept natural and effortless, with a focus on eyelashes and pink lips.
The other half of this bruisfotografie in Wereldmuseum shot on film can be seen in the second blogpost here.
