Italian Villa Wedding in Castello Di Tassara

This summer I went to Milan for Tina & Jay's elopement in a countryside villa in the mountains. They chose Castello Di Tassara, a villa that looks right out of a middle-age fantasy. It locates in the beautiful hills of Emilia-Romagna region, approximately 2 hours drive from Milan.

This wedding was featured on Magnolia Rouge! 

After arriving at the villa on day 1, we had some free time checking out the venue, hanging by the pool, photographing the astonishing view of the hills right outside our bedroom windows.

Day 2 started with a boudoir session with Tina early morning. The villa has various stunning rooms and hallways, perfect when the weather is unpredictable in the mountains. It was a moody and quiet morning; the rain kept falling while Tina wandered around the hallway barefoot, listened to the raindrops and read books. It felt like a poem.

Then the rest of the day turned out to be dry and sunny. Tina & Jay had their elopement in the village church, then continued the photoshoot around the streets of Tassara. The light, the energy, the scenery.. everything was perfect. I also helped them prepare a table for two and enjoyed a bottle of champaign together. We ended the day driving out to the grape-yards for a breathtaking sunset and some laughters. It was simply magic.

Thank you Tina & Jay, you guys were like old friends in those 2 days and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had in this profession. Xx
