From the Trevi Fountain to the Spanish Stairs, Rome is so rich in the culture and history. The bride Yi approached me for a prewedding/engagement session in Rome since she’s been a major 「Roman Holiday」fan. They are an adorable couple to photograph and just to hang out with - fun, carefree, creative.
We hit the Trevi Fountain early morning and had the whole site to ourselves. The sculpture form is just so fascinating - the lines, the curves. You would see something new from each angle and every time passing by.

The Spanish Stairs is another one of the classics and Yi’s favorites. She envisioned the scene from 「Roman Holiday」, where Audrey had her ice-cream while waiting for Gregory to show up. A pro-tip for this location: GET THERE EARLY! Thousands of people visit this famous site everyday, and you’ll understand why once you get there.
We also explored and photographed near the Colosseum. One of my favorite districts in Rome is Monti, an edgy local residential area with cute little streets, cafes and shops which is walking distance from Colosseum. The famous attractions are cool; though these districts full of characters are what I’m really drawn to.
