Romantic European castle wedding in Groot Warnsborn | Melissa & Lorin
Melissa & Lorin tied the knot in June at castle Groot Warnsborn. Coming from a fashion background, Melissa surely knew how her dream wedding was going to turn out. Filled with pale pink, white and dark green, everything from the invitation suite to the bouquet, from bridesmaid’s dresses to the decor, from ceremony site to the reception room were amazingly stylish.
Castle Groot Warnsborn is located in the north of the Netherlands dated back to the 17th century. Ceremony was held outside on top of the spectacular garden steps, using the castle as a perfect backdrop when Melissa & Lorin exchanged vows. Only the closest families were present during the ceremony, making it such an emotional and intimate time that nothing seemed to matter except the love of these two.
The day was full of laughter and tears; one of the most memorable moments was when I was shooting bridal portrait for Melissa, Lorin just stood there, watched her, and just had tears in his eyes. Melissa went over and gave him hugs and kisses. it was so touching I couldn't hold back my tears.
